Fima has created the Fima Technologies division with the aim of rethinking solutions for the fishing sector by establishing distinct and effective strategic alliances that draw on our 40 years of experience. As a result, we are able to offer imaginative new options in equipment supply. To date we count on cooperative agreements with Stord Process of Norway and AZ Engineering of Chile, which together with the knowledge and experience of FIMA, adds up to a better technical application for equipment such as disc dryers and/or homogenizers, tube dryers, batch and process cookers, in-line water processing (evaporators), among others.

Over the last few years FIMA has been working alongside renowned engineering firms such as Bechtel, Kilborn, Simons, SNC, Lavalin, Fluor Daniel, Hatch, and Parsons, as well as Japanese suppliers like Nissho Iwai, Mitsui, Hitachi, etc, in order to offer premium sub-contracted engineering support and product manufacture.
FIMA also offers sub-contracting services to North American and European companies, having recently obtained a number of meaningful contracts.
