FIMA currently is actively participating in the expansion as well as to moderinize the Zinc Refinery at Cajamarquilla Unit which is part of Votoramtim Metais, which consider two stages: 160 K, just finished and 320, currently in execution.

Fima has supplied several equipment, most important to be mentioned are:

- Pressure Vessel ( ASME )
- Storage Tanks
- Ducts, Launders and Nozzles
- Spools
- Spiral Classifiers, Screw Conveyors and Belt Conveyors
- Roaster
- Induction Furnace

Most of these supplies have been totally manufactured at Fima Factory, under design engineering of Amec, Outotec, Ajax Tocco and others. Material like stainless steel ( 904L, 316L, 304 L ) and Carbon Steel are part of the required supplies.
In this way Fima continues consolidating as the best and most important supplier of the Steel Work Shop of Peruvian manufacturers.

Fima is one of the few Peruvian enterprises that has ASME qualification for manufatcturing of Pressure Vessel ( U Stamp ), Boilers ( Stamp S ) and for repair of Pressure Vessel ( Stamp R ).

Based on that, during the last two years, Fima has manufactured more than 50 Pressure Vessels for the Gas and Petroleum sectors.

Dimensions of the manufactured vessel are from 0.50 m diameter x 1.0 m long, up to 3.5 m diameter x 26.0 m long.

FIMA just has finished succesfully the first work order for CHINALCO, which correspond to the manufacturing of tanks for the acid water treatment on Kingsmill Tunnel which has been administrated by COSAPI. The project is located on Morococha distric ,Yauli province in Junin Department.

1 Tank for water of process ( 2.5 m diam. x 3.0 m height )
1 Tank for Lime Slaking System / Slurry ( 2.5 m diam, x 3.3 m height )

Fima people, improving constinuosly his job, finished the complete project 2 weeks before the date that was scheduled in the contract.

FIMA, one time more, has shown to be the "supplier of grinding mills".
Fima grinding mills manufaturing are under Denver Equipment Co. (currently Metso Minerals) authorized License.
