ASME Tanks for Newmont’s Yanacocha Mine

FIMA, the only Peruvian company boasting ASME certification (‘U’, ‘S’), beat numerous international competitors to receive the bid award for the manufacture of strip vessels for the Yanacocha mine in northern Peru.  The tender process was administered by the Fluor engineering firm.

The stainless steel tanks are currently undergoing manufacture and are expected to be delivered shortly.
